Modular Homes in Ocala & Florida

Nobility Homes has built homes in Ocala, Florida since 1967, and every one of our 110 floor plans can be built as a modular home as well as a HUD-code manufactured home. If you are comparing modular homes in Ocala or anywhere in Florida, this page explains the difference and how to get started.

What is a modular home?

A modular home is built in sections in a factory, then transported to your lot and set on a permanent foundation. Modular homes are built to the local building code of the place where they will be installed. A manufactured home is built to the federal HUD code on a permanent steel chassis. Both are built indoors, away from weather delays, and both can be finished and financed in different ways.
